Seamless Financial Transactions for Global Pilgrims Using Blockchain-Based Solution

Overview

WadzPay's Pilgrim Program payment solution revolutionises the way pilgrims experience and manage their finances on their spiritual journeys around the world. By harnessing the power of blockchain technology, the program offers a virtual asset-based solution that provides pilgrims with secure, simple, and convenient financial transactions. Whether pilgrims are visiting distant holy sites or local shrines, our pilgrim points streamline purchases and manage expenses, all while ensuring that their focus remains on their spiritual experience.

Solution Provided

Upon registering for their pilgrimage, individuals receive pilgrim points that act like money in a mobile wallet and can be used at a variety of affiliated vendors, such as accommodations, restaurants, and retail shops. The process for adding funds to these tokens is straightforward, enabling top-ups from one's bank account with their issuer bank. These points can be spent effortlessly by scanning a QR code at any merchant's point-of-sale (POS).

The pilgrim points leverage blockchain technology for enhanced security, ensuring all transactions are encrypted and permanently recorded in blockchain ledgers, safeguarding against fraud and theft. Transactions occur instantaneously, avoiding the delays typically associated with international cards which also is expensive for merchants who must pay a higher merchant discount rate (MDR).

After the pilgrimage and upon returning to their own country, pilgrims can convert any remaining points back to their local currency using the refund option on their mobile apps. This system offers a universally accessible and convenient financial solution for pilgrims worldwide eliminating the need to carry large amounts of cash and dealing with money changers at various points.

Transforming Precious Metal Investments: Tokenizing Gold Assets for Easy, All-in-One Wallet Management

Overview

Our Tokenization project represents a pioneering approach in asset management, utilising blockchain technology to tokenize physical gold. This innovative solution transforms the traditional methods of buying, selling, and managing gold investments by introducing virtual tokens that represent real gold assets.

Solution Provided

Our Tokenization platform leverages blockchain technology to create fungible tokens that are fully backed by physical gold securely stored in vaults. Each token equates to a precise quantity of gold, ensuring every transaction within the blockchain corresponds directly to tangible assets.

This system facilitates real-time trading of gold tokens on global exchanges, offering liquidity and simplified access to the gold market without traditional barriers such as storage and insurance costs, or high entry thresholds. It also enables fractional ownership, making gold investment more accessible to a wider audience. The transparency afforded by blockchain technology ensures all transactions and ownership records are immutable and easily verifiable, increasing security and building trust among participants.

Designed to adhere to global compliance standards, including KYC and AML regulations, our solution is secure and suitable for investors aiming to diversify their portfolios with gold assets. This application of blockchain not only democratises access to gold investments but also introduces unprecedented flexibility and liquidity in the precious metals market.

Airport Retail Virtual Asset-Based Payments Solution for a Duty Free in the Middle East

Overview

To modernise payment systems at a major international airport in the Middle East, WadzPay implemented a blockchain-based virtual asset-based Payments solution. This integration aims to streamline transactions for travellers using virtual assets, enhancing both convenience and efficiency at various retail points throughout the airport.

Solution Provided

Our Payments solution integrates seamlessly with the existing point of sale (POS) systems and e-commerce payment gateways within the airport. It supports a variety of virtual assets, enabling travellers to make quick and secure purchases directly from their blockchain-enabled wallets via a QR code scan. This system provides a new payment method to the increasing number of consumers with virtual asset wallets and simplifies the overall shopping experience for both travellers and retail operators.

The blockchain foundation of our Payments solution ensures the highest level of transaction security and transparency. Each transaction is encrypted and recorded on the blockchain, creating an immutable ledger that prevents fraud and enhances trust between all parties involved. This level of security is particularly important in high-traffic international environments like airports, where the risk of fraudulent activity is heightened.

Furthermore, our solution offers real-time transaction processing and settlement, eliminating the delays often associated with traditional payment methods. This immediacy is crucial for airport retail, where customers are often pressed for time between flights. By reducing transaction times, our solution helps to optimise sales and improve customer satisfaction.

The implementation of our virtual asset-based Payments solution in this Middle Eastern airport represents a significant step forward in the adoption of blockchain technology in the travel and retail sectors. It showcases the practical, real-world applications of this technology and its potential to revolutionise the way we conduct transactions on a global scale.
